Events

Events are dated happenings at your shelter — adoption days, fundraisers, volunteer orientations — that you want everyone to see. Events you create here appear on the volunteer mobile app's home screen and calendar, so the whole team knows what's coming up.

Who can use this page: staff and administrators create and manage events; volunteers see them in the mobile app.

Create an event

Creating a new event

  1. Click New event.
  2. Give it a title, a date and time, and a location.
  3. Save. The event appears in the list and on the volunteer app.

To take an event off the calendar without losing its record, mark it inactive rather than deleting it.
